1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using StudyTriage (the “App”) or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms are provided for launch readiness and may be updated as the product matures.
2. Who may use the App
StudyTriage is intended for college-level nursing students and similar adult learners, typically ages 17+. The App is not directed at children under 13. You represent that you meet the intended age audience and have authority to accept these terms.
3. What the App provides
StudyTriage may provide:
- Calendar and scheduling tools (school, clinical, assignment, personal, and custom categories)
- Tasks with due dates and priorities
- Clinical hours logging and CSV export
- Optional AI-assisted syllabus parsing with user review before import
- Optional daily and weekly AI briefs
- A study plan stub (manual assessment selection)
Features not yet available include, without limitation: push notifications, Canvas LMS OAuth, cloud sync / user accounts, and a high-yield content library. Marketing materials describing “coming later” items are not promises of delivery on a fixed date.
4. Not medical advice; no clinical decision support
The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It does not provide nursing clinical decision support. Content generated or displayed by the App (including AI briefs) is for personal organization and study planning only. Always follow your program’s policies, faculty instructions, and licensed clinicians in care settings.
5. AI limitations
AI features (such as syllabus parsing and briefs) may be incomplete, incorrect, or outdated. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or importing it into your calendar. Do not use the App as your only source of assignment deadlines or clinical requirements — verify against official syllabi and LMS systems.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information you choose to enter
- Keep devices and any local backend configuration reasonably secure
- Comply with your school’s academic integrity and clinical policies
- Not misuse the App to harass, break the law, or attempt to reverse-engineer for harm
- Not upload content you do not have rights to process
7. Accounts, data, and privacy
Current builds may operate without cloud accounts; data may be stored locally. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process, including optional OpenAI API use for AI features. You are responsible for backups of data you need (for example, clinical CSV exports).
8. Intellectual property
StudyTriage branding, design, and original software are owned by the developer except where third-party licenses apply. You may not use StudyTriage trademarks in a way that implies endorsement without permission.
9. Third-party services
The App may depend on third parties (e.g. OpenAI for AI features, Apple for distribution). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate. We do not guarantee academic outcomes, clinical hour acceptance by your school, or grade improvement.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, GRADES, CLINICAL PLACEMENT, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $0 IF THE APP WAS PROVIDED FREE.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless the developer from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — to the extent permitted by law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the App or related services with or without notice, including if required by platform rules or law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your place of residence.
